Our client is a Technology leader within its respective field with a global presence and more than 5000 employees worldwide. For their Swiss office in the Schaffhausen area, we are looking for a Vice President ESG to lead the development and implementation of their sustainability strategies across the company. This role is essential in ensuring that the company's operations align with the highest standards of environmental protection, social equity, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ESG, a deep understanding of the production industry, and the ability to influence and inspire others toward sustainable practices.

Your responsibilities:


  • Develop and Implement ESG Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive ESG strategies that align with the company's goals and values.
  • Sustainability Reporting: Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data, ensuring compliance with local and international standard (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and regulators, to promote ESG initiatives and foster a culture of sustainability.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate environmental, social, and governance risks within the company's operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in sustainability practices by staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices.
  • Training and Development: Educate and train employees at all levels on ESG-related topics to ensure company-wide engagement and understanding.
  • Leadership: Lead a small team reporting into the position

Your profile:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG management, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility, preferably within the production or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.).
  • Proven experience in sustainability reporting and data management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
