- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, financial consolidation, technical accounting, tax compliance, and revenue recognition.
- Manage relationships with external accountants to ensure the month-end close process is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Champion ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
- Assist Finance Management in preparing monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reports.
- Aid executive leadership in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
- Collaborate closely with the treasury manager to manage liquidity.
- Perform financial analyses as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Experience with DATEV would be a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in German (minimum C1) and English is a must.
