Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert knowledge in configuration management to prevent undocumented changes, system inconsistencies, or compliance issues
  • Take responsibility to process engineering change requests regarding technical documentations
  • Drive related configuration management activities:
    • Create new material numbers
    • Create / change /maintenance of BOMs (manual and via Excel upload)
    • Create and maintain info structures
    • Manage product status throughout the product lifecycle
    • Maintenance of US and EU ECCN codes
    • Connect a material number with a supplier/manufacturer
    • Document trade compliance and material declarations
o document upload and approval workflow
  • Connect BOMs in the PLM system
  • Ensure data quality of data via reports and queries, perform mass data updates
  • Supporting problem solving initiatives and root cause analysis

Key Qualifications:
  • Completed (technical) university degree, e.g. in mechanical engineering alternatively apprenticeship with further training as a technician
  • Strong experience in change management, configuration management or process engineering
  • Solid understanding of PLM Systems
  • Strong method competence
  • Structured and results-oriented way of working
  • High social competence and ability to work in a team
  • Very good written and spoken English
