Reporting to the Country Manager Germany & Northern Europe, you will be part of a team of 4 talented professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and supporting the growth of our renewable energy portfolio.
Your key responsibilities:
- Assist the Business Development Manager in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports for potential projects and partnerships.
- Support the development and implementation of business development strategies and plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics in the renewable energy sector.
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including new projects, partnerships, and acquisitions in the renewable energy field
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the viability and profitability of potential projects and investments.
- Perform detailed due diligence on prospective projects and partners, including financial, technical, and regulatory aspects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Business Developers, Project Developers, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies, to advance business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities, opportunities, and market intelligence.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the renewable energy market in Germany. Furthermore, you should bring the following:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- +2 years of experience in business development, financial analysis or related field in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, including solar, wind, and other sustainable energy technologies, in Germany.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Extremely high proactivity, open personality and passionate about the development of renewable energies.
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written German and English.
- Permanent contract.
