To support our Legal Team, at our location in Cologne we are looking for a
Legal Counsel (m/f/d) Contract and Commercial Law
- You will provide comprehensive legal support for international IT and digitalization projects across entire company group, becoming the go-to person for IT, eCommerce, and data protection law topics.
- Your tasks will include reviewing and negotiating IT and data protection contracts, advising our departments on issues relating to data protection and (digital) consumer protection law implementation as well as, supporting to develop our eCommerce and membership programs.
- You will assist in creating and updating internal policies, guidelines and contract templates related to data protection, IT, and eCommerce law.
- You will follow and evaluate new legal developments, keep up to date with digital developments and work closely with our data protection officers and our Global Data Protection Manager.
- You will also be the point of contact and manage the communication with our external advisors.
- You are a fully qualified lawyer, Business lawyer, or have a Master's degree in law or a business law diploma.
- Additional training or certifications related to data protection or a specialist lawyer title are a plus, but not a must.
- You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in a law firm or the legal department in an international company.
- You have a keen analytical and conceptual approach and are enthusiastic about technical and digital developments.
- You work independently with solution-oriented and pragmatic approach to problems solving.
- Your German and English language skills are business fluent (written and spoken).
- You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional team and a lively work environment.
