Our energy asset risk team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

  • Contribute to and lead initiatives to create a best-in-class operational risk management framework
  • Manage and improve the process for prioritizing operational projects, working closely with relevant stakeholders particularly from sites
  • Provide analysis on planned and current spending profiles, identify optimization potentials, track changes during the fiscal year, and coordinate in-year project prioritization process
  • Identify, assess, and monitor business portfolio risks, as well as reviewing insurance coverage strategies
  • Lead and contribute to improvement and strategic projects across various departments
  • Support the climate risk vulnerability assessment process, evaluating mid-term and long-term climate-related risks on Uniper assets and identifying mitigation and adaptation measures
  • Support the integration of new assets throughout the entire development project life cycle

  • Excellent university degree in engineering, business administration, economics or natural science
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Proven track record in project management with collaborative stakeholder engagement
  • Strategic understanding of operational risk management and energy market trends and/or operational experience
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work across hierarchical, technological, and national boundaries, and to collaborate in culturally diverse teams
  • Willingness to undertake international travel
  • Business fluency in English, other European languages beneficial
