The Innovation Center (IZ) observes trends in technology and society and serves as an incubator and accelerator for the explorative development of modern business models for the entire IABG Group. The Innovation Center sees itself as the spearhead for industrializing the latest research and putting it to beneficial use for customers. We experiment not only with technologies and methods but also with organizational forms and business models. We are guided by the question of how an increasingly globalized and urban society can be developed in a secure and sustainable manner, whose organizations and systems are already networked at Internet speed.

The Innovation Center specializes in developing prototypes and early-stage products. In this role, you will support the creation and evaluation of business cases and actively participate in marketing. You will play a key role in business development for safeAI, focusing on the development for the evaluation and testing of AI-systems.

  • Driving Business Strategy: You are responsible for devising business strategies and commercial models for our innovative projects and products. You ensure strategic alignment with the development teams, focusing on business case creation and marketing strategy
  • Active Marketing: Active marketing of existing products in the portfolio and information gathering for new developments. Expanding into new markets and customer segments through targeted market research and benchmark analyses
  • Collaboration and Consulting: Close collaboration with the sales teams of the operational units of the IABG, to jointly advise potential customers and develop customer-oriented solutions
  • Stakeholder-Management: Close coordination with all relevant stakeholders to evaluate and further develop the product offerings. Ensuring that all developments are in line with market requirements and company objectives
  • Demonstration and Presentation: Leading product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings to potential customers and stakeholders. This involves effectively communicating the value proposition and unique selling points of our products

  • University degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or economics, coupled with a solid technical understanding
  • Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills, always curious about exploring new solutions and opportunities
  • Proven analytical and strategic thinking abilities, capable of understanding, evaluating, and developing new business models or product ideas
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting and commercializing solutions tailored to client needs
  • Proven track record of pioneering solutions for emerging market segments and establishing strategic reference partnerships with key customers
  • Exeptional networking skills with the ability to leverage and expand a strategic network, facilitating business growth and fostering collaborations
  • Teamwork skills and experience in collaborating with various departments within a company
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at grasping customer needs, with fluency in English and German
