As a Senior Test Engineer at Fluke, you will be a member of the cross-functional product development team responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining our Alignment and Vibration product portfolio.
You will be analyzing product requirements, crafting test plans, designing test setups, creating test automation, and conducting tests of the hardware and software of the Fluke products., ensuring they are fully functional and exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional, performance, environmental, and safety tests of new or existing products.
  • Create test plans/cases for type testing (electrical and mechanical) according to product requirements and project schedule with execution toward quality and delivery.
  • Work hand in hand with software, electronic, and mechanical engineers during product development ensuring that they meet the key validation criteria of completeness and testability.
  • Find and drive process improvements.
  • Develop robust automated verification systems for each assigned product to ensure high test coverage.
  • Collaborate with IT, product management, engineering, and other impacted departments. Be an integrated team member in the hardware/software development process from the initial start of the development to production, and service support.

  • Understanding the principles of microprocessor-controlled digital and analog electronics troubleshooting.
  • 3-5 years' experience as a professional tester or developer preferably with electronic measurement devices.
  • Knowledge of verification and validation process, test strategies, requirements management
  • Programming skills for test automation, hands-on experience with Python or others Desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer science engineering or similar
  • Familiar with continuous integration principles
  • Knowledge about optical and mechanical vibration measurement testing
  • Ability to learn new programming concepts, languages, and best practices.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and use good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of EMC and EMI.
