Intern Local Custody (all genders)
BNP Paribas Securities Services provides asset-servicing services for investment funds, securities and alternative assets throughout the investment process. The unit is the largest depositary for securities and real estate funds in Germany and one of the five leading Global Custodians worldwide. Around 300 employees in Germany develop integrated digital solutions for all customer segments from one source.
Local Custody deals with domestic and international securities safekept at the Local Central Depositary and at the international Central Depositary. Hereby Local Custody informs their international clients about upcoming Corporate Events, e.g. Capital increase, Tender Offer, Merger, and acts on client instructions.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you
- Analysis and processing of market information, related to different financial instruments
- Autonomous processing of Corporate Action and Proxy voting events
- Handling of instructions from international clients through the lifecycle of an event
- Ensuring the adherence of strict market deadlines
- Interaction with local and international BNP network, agents, counterparties, depositaries and stock corporations
- Participating at the continuous improvement process within the team
Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer
- Student of Business Administrations, Economics or similar
- Strong interest in financial markets and securities
- High level of detail accuracy
- Team ability and communication strength
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Fluent in German (C1 level) and business fluent in English (word and writing)
