We are seeking passionate and talented students who want to shape next-generation products at ZEISS. Integrated in a team of scientists and research engineers, you will conduct (for at least 4 months) research in digital twin solutions in the areas of physics simulations, rendering and robotics. The candidate will screen latest industry and scientific literature, implement proof-of-concepts, and will present findings to internal teams.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in physics, computer science, computer graphics, visual computing, robotics, electrical engineering or related field

  • Strong understanding of robotics, rendering or physics simulations

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong programming skills in either C++ or Python

  • Experience in ROS 2 or universal scene description is a plus

  • You are willing to learn and explore with a high degree of initiative and creativity

  • Communication and presentation skills in English and/or German

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
