Senior Operations Controller Finance (f/m/d)

As a Senior Operations Controller (f/m/d), you are part of an agile and open minded team that works hand in hand to contribute significantly to the success of our projects. In your role, you independently oversee project controlling for small to high-profile projects in the million-dollar range. When collaborating with international stakeholders, you see yourself as a communication-strong sparring partner and focus particularly on the following tasks:

  • Project controlling through global, qualitative monitoring of project data and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines as well as SOX guidelines in the equipment sector
  • Preparation of global project reports and conducting project audits in collaboration with management
  • Coordination and documentation of financially relevant data and reporting to the corporate headquarters & EQ, supporting EQ management in all financial matters
  • Conducting monthly revenue provisions, determining provisions for receivables, and conducting impairment tests
  • Close collaboration with international stakeholders and colleagues in corporate accounting, including working with external and internal auditors
  • Ensuring financial processes and reconciliation calculations in accordance with US-GAAP/HGB/tax rules
  • Preparation and execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Preparation, coordination, and execution of forecasts for the EQ Global area as well as coordination of tax/process-related issues between countries
  • Preparation of financial results presentations for the EQ management team
  • Analysis and commentary on Working Capital Management.

  • Strong solution-oriented approach combined with meticulous work ethic
  • Enjoyment of teamwork coupled with a hands-on mentality
  • Diplomatic skills combined with strong communication abilities at all levels in English and German
  • Excellent comprehension and analytical skills
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in project controlling, preferably in an international setting
  • Successfully completed studies in business administration or equivalent qualification
