We are looking for you as a Trainee in IT Digital Track (f/m/d)
- You will develop a deep understanding of Uniper's business, its value drivers, and the business environment
- You will learn from and collaborate with experts from many different fields, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects with various stakeholders
- You will start in one of our IT teams, such as "Trading IT", "Asset IT" or "Data Management" and rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path
- In the Short-term trading IT solutions team within Trading IT, which is at the heart of the energy transformation to secure both the security of supply and stability of the energy grids, you will work with business analysts and key users to review market changes and derive solution scenarios.
- In Asset IT, you will be working in the middle of the energy transition by delivering suitable IT solutions for both securing the supply of our conventional generation as well as transforming and building up renewables and green power production, like solar, wind, and hydrogen solutions
- In Data Management, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and platforms that enable data driven decision making for the energy transition, while learning from experienced data experts and collaborating with other IT teams to advance our data strategies and ensure information and cyber security
- Successfully completed studies with a focus on computer science, software engineering, mathematics, economics with a leg on information technology or comparable disciplines
- Ideally first practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities
- Curiosity and openness to working in an international environment
- Intercultural experience is crucial, experience abroad a plus
- Sense of responsibility, proactivity and advanced interpersonal communication skills as well as a drive for continuous improvement with a hands-on mentality
- Enthusiasm about energy and technology
- Understanding of topics such as software development, machine learning, and data engineering
- Fluency of written English is required, basic knowledge of German is an advantage
