A vacancy for a Systems Engineer (m/w/d) - Combat Aircraft Mission Support Systems (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: Take-over of system engineering tasks throughout the life cycle of our development projects, which includes system concept definition, system design, requirements engineering, system test & qualification in an agile approach You will be responsible for the scope and quality of the assigned tasks considering all aspects like feasibility, reusability, system optimization, maintainability, safety, technical performance, interface design, risks and opportunities You will take part in test defintion and test automation on system- and software-Level including test data management Ensure transfer of contracted capabilities and Customer requirements into system and product requirements Focus on Customer satisfaction and ensure full compliance with valid rules and regulations Support to and participate in Customer meetings and workshops Foster collaboration within our project team and with involved stakeholders - internal and external Actively support the continuous improvements of our products, projects and processes Actively support Continuous Software Integration & Verification We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or equivalent qualification Solid experience as System / Software Engineer (preferable in Aeronautics or Defence sector) or equivalent experience Profound knowledge in developing avionic and/or mission support software (civil / military applications) or equivalent systems are of advantage Experience in agile methods like Scrum would be a plus Experience in working with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo) and DOORS preferable Strong team player, independent working method and high quality awareness Negotiation level in English is a must, Good knowledge of German would be a plus
