Become part of our Credit Risk Management at Daimler Truck Financial Services

The department Credit Risk Management is responsible for the monthly calculation of credit risk reserves, for risk steering
and reporting for all DTFS entities as well as risk methods and parameters. Furthermore, the department manages rating
and scoring models, processes and systems. In addition, the department hosts several policies, prepares Board deals,
ensures their quality and fosters the further process and system digitization.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Collaborate with expert team to maintain, develop or enhance quantitative state-of the art risk models
  • Cooperate with experts of data- and portfolio analyses (data science/data analytics) with mathematical-statistical methods, while accessing heterogeneous databases for market specific activities for risk related activities (Scoring and Rating)
  • Become a business owner, key contact and consultancy related to these tools and the IT platforms used
  • Act as quality gate for the credit decision models and support the local entities with your expertise in their processes and in their integration into the respective headquarter functions
  • Coordinate, review and prioritize the system business requirements and testing activities with various stakeholders and ensure alignment with IT, other affected projects as well as external suppliers
  • Drive automation in the credit decision process
  • Network with other teams, departments and local entities to ensure proper handling of needs and requirements and ensure fast reactions on changes in market needs

YOU WILL FIT IN PERFECTLY IF YOU

  • Have a degree in Business Mathematics, Business Informatics, Mathematics Business Administration (preferably with a
    focus on quantitative methods) or comparable education
  • Can look back on some working experience and have a knowledge in risk management, risk instruments or credit
    operations within a financial services institution
  • Knowledge in data analytics, automation and business intelligence, being familiar with programming language, such as
    SAS, R or Python is beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Master English in speaking and writing as you work in an international and multicultural environment; German language
    skills are beneficial
