  • Project lead of national/international logistics projects in region APAC

  • Implement best practice logistics processes and IT solutions at different ZEISS locations in region APAC

  • Drive continuous process improvements (e.g. Lean) and further develop solutions in order to increase logistics performance and reduce logistics costs

  • Further develop the logistics performance reporting for steering and controlling the logistics services (time, cost, quality) in region APAC

  • Maintenance of implemented logistics solutions including IT, trouble shooting in case of process and IT failures on behalf of the ZEISS units in region APAC

  • Identify synergies in the application of the logistics solutions for different ZEISS businesses

  • Responsible for the training of the ZEISS staff in region APAC w.r.t. application of the logistics solutions

  • Enhance best practice exchange within the global ZEISS logistics community, have close cooperation with Corporate Logistics, Corporate Purchasing, Corporate Customs and Corporate IT

  • Disciplinary reporting line to the Head of Global Logistics Projects (Corporate Logistics)


  • Master degree in business engineering or equivalent, with focus on change management, logistics and IT

  • At least five years of work experience in a supply chain/logistics function

  • Proven business process knowledge in at least two of the following SAP-modules –MM, -LE, -SD, -PP or CS required (SAP training certification or equals to that are highly appreciated)

  • Proven experience in the implementation of inbound and outbound logistics IT solutions in a highly competitive environment

  • Strong communication skills, high degree of team spirit and self-motivation required for this position

  • Broad experience in the development of logistics and supply chain processes specifically based on a heterogeneous IT landscape (SAP, non-SAP, external WMS-Systems etc.)

  • International mobility and intercultural competence required

  • Business English fluent, second language highly appreciated
