Expert in Fab Production Planning (f/m/d)

Location: 82362, Weilheim in Oberbayern


  • Frontend Demand Management: Network with frontend production requirements, appropriately arrange production resources, and ensure efficient operation of production lines and maximum production capacity
  • Quality Management: Ensure the manufacturing process meets quality standards and requirements, monitor product inspection and testing, timely handle exceptions, and collaborate with the quality team to improve product quality and process efficiency
  • Increase Production Efficiency: Optimize production processes, improve equipment maintenance, and introduce automation and intelligent technologies to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs
  • Coordination and Communication: Work closely with other departments such as R&D, Module, PIE, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure smooth implementation of production plans and appropriate resource allocation, as well as resolve challenges and issues in daily operations
  • Platform Building: Support R&D in packaging and test manufacturing processes and build the process platform; develop processes such as photolithography, electroplating, and etching; improve metrics like product yield, component performance, and reliability
  • Supply Chain Management: Build and continuously improve supply chain management with the aim of lean production; participate in the inspection, management, and evaluation of suppliers to ensure delivery quality and establish long-term cooperative relationships

  • Successfully completed degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • At least 12 years of experience in FAB production management
  • Extensive expertise in FAB production management, familiar with production processes, workflows, and quality management, preferably in the semiconductor manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in creating and adjusting production plans, capable of independently making production plans based on production tasks and resource conditions
  • General knowledge and skills in equipment maintenance and management, capable of creating maintenance plans and ensuring normal operation of equipment
  • Familiarity with production cost controls and cost analysis
  • Good knowledge of test equipment for semiconductor wafers (ATE testers, sorters, and test stations) and experience in mass production of semiconductor technology; practical experience in the introduction or production of SiC and silicon products in fabs is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness to ensure smooth collaboration with various departments and support your team in achieving their goals
  • Enthusiasm and assertiveness enable you to train new employees and support your team in achieving their goals. Experience in team development and technical leadership is an advantage
  • Hands-on mentality and open attitude towards intercultural work environments, making it easy for you to quickly adapt to new environments
  • In addition to excellent communication and presentation skills in English, knowledge of German and/or Chinese is a plus
