- Design firmware and software architectures for embedded systems.
- Review software requirements and drive the needed software architecture changes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Develop, test, and maintain firmware/embedded software.
- Utilize Docker and GitLab CI for development environments and build processes.
- Ensure robust cyber-security practices are integrated into software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Conduct testing on hardware as part of every task to ensure functionality and performance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Proven experience as an embedded software engineer/Architect with hands-on development and architecture, including firmware development and embedded systems.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Extensive experience with programming languages C, C++, and Python.
- Comfortable commanding system engineering tools like Enterprise-Architect or Capella
- Expertise in Linux and related development tools.
- Demonstrated experience in cyber-security practices for embedded systems.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in an agile development environment and tools.
- Hands-on Experience with Yocto and OTA/remote SW-updates
- Strong knowledge of Docker and GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with QT framework.
- Experience with embedded software test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
