ZEISS Ventures is a unit within the ZEISS Group and identifies start-ups that challenge and advance technological frontiers in fields as diverse as Robotics, Tissue Engineering, Augmented/Virtual Reality, and Innovative Vision Care solutions.

Your role

Assist with organizational and administrative topics to support our ZEISS Ventures Team in Munich. As a Team Assistant (part-time, around 20h per week) you will be responsible for:

  • Calendar and travel management

  • Tracking progress of tasks and deadlines

  • Office management, general secretarial work

  • Providing administrative support to Operations Manager and Head of Internal Ventures

  • Organization of internal and external appointments, workshops, and events

  • Responsible for purchasing and processing invoices


  • First professional experience as (Management) Assistant in an international environment (1-2 years)

  • Excellent time management skills and strong organization skills

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to build networks and keenness to work in intercultural and interdisciplinary global teams

  • Business fluent in English and German (must have) combined with strong communication skills

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications/tools - especially PowerPoint and Excel
