Operational Security Engineer (m/f/d)

- Maintain and continuously develop internal security infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT to ensure security within daily technical operations
- Provide advisory of technical architectural changes affecting the IT landscape
- Ensure network security and firewall management
- Support IT to develop a zero trust architecture
- Ensure best practice around Identity Access Management (IAM)
- Degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
- Strong knowledge of networking security, incl. topics such as firewalls, proxies, WAF, IDS
- Experience in setting up logging and monitoring systems to detect and monitor malicious activity within a hybrid network
- Good programming skills in developing new scripts to support your work (for example Python, Batch, PowerShell, VBA or similar scripting languages)
- Knowledge and experience in setting up infrastructure as code (IaC) using technologies such as Terraform or Ansible desirable
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
