- Definition and evaluation of top-level requirements for functions related to the powertrain of wind turbines in alignment with other R&D departments, services and sales
- Setup concepts of wind turbine powertrain functions in cooperation with internal stakeholders and partners
- Creation of architectures and specifications for the implementation and tests of functions
- Definition and tracking of deliverables and milestones
- Interface and progress reporting to project and program teams
- Coordination of software development with internal and external software developers
- Master's degree or PhD in engineering, e.g. electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience of control engineering and software development
- Very good knowledge of power converters and powertrains
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentations skills in English
- Mobile working
