Antibodies with therapeutic potential are selected from these libraries and further developed into viable immunotherapeutics.

  • Design and execute antibody discovery campaigns using mammalian cell and phage display
  • Continuously increase the size of LyNDAL by cloning additional B cell repertoires from patient-derived tumor draining lymph nodes into phage and mammalian display vectors
  • Conduct high-throughput screening (HTS) of antibody display campaign outputs using ELISA and flow cytometry
  • Perform biochemical, biophysical and functional characterization of selected antibodies according to respective lead candidate requirements
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of potential therapeutic leads to respective drug development groups
  • Document work in an electronic lab notebook, analyse and interpret generated data, and present them in meetings in an organized manner
  • Innovate and establish new strategies to address challenging targets

  • Completed PhD in the field of immunology, immuno-oncology, biomedicine, or a related discipline with 2+ years of post-doctoral experience, preferably in Pharma or Biotech industry
  • At least 1 year direct experience with antibody display technologies and selection methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, including RT-PCR, PCR, overlap extension PCR, cloning, primer design, and in-silico DNA construct design
  • Experience in cloning, expression, and purification of proteins/antibodies in bacterial and mammalian cells
  • Experience in flow cytometry
  • Hands-on and problem-solving mentality
  • Effective resource and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and preferably experienced in maintaining an electronic lab notebook (ELN)
