To strengthen the team in Berlin, we are looking for a: Principal Software Engineer (all genders) Your tasks Ability to identify and assess technical risks and implement strategies for mitigation. Proven track record of optimizing system performance, including database tuning, code optimization, etc. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and conduct research to evaluate their potential application. Deep and broad technical knowledge of the .NET technology stack (C is a must). Experience in evaluating and selecting third-party tools, frameworks, and platforms. Actively contribute to industry forums, publish technical articles, and participate in conferences. Proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding optimal solutions to complex technical challenges. Championing code quality, best practices, and ensuring adherence to coding standards. Experience in contributing to the development of technical roadmaps and aligning them with business objectives Your Experience amp; Qualifications Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory compliance requirements and best practices in security. Experience in managing technical budgets, resource allocation, and optimizing processes for cost-effectiveness. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Good understanding of Python, Flutter, ReactJS and VueJS is a strong plus. Experience in filing patents or contributing to intellectual property assets is a plus. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, set technical direction, and lead the adoption of new technologies. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and guidance. Experience in mentoring and coaching engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Strong documentation skills, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications. Bachelor 8217;s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master s or Ph.D.) is preferred. 12+ years of experience in engineering roles, with a minimum of 5+ years in a senior or lead engineering position.
