We are BMW Financial Services, a leading provider of automotive financial services. We are on the hunt for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance our Enterprise Content Management Systems (ECM). You will be an integral part of a global feature team, collaborating with BMW's internal staff in Munich, the BMW DevOps Hub in South Africa, and offshore members from an external provider. What awaits you?

  • Develop and implement new systems while enhancing existing ECM solutions.
  • Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with a global team to deliver high-quality features and services.
  • Employ agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of ECM systems to meet business needs.

What should you bring along?

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer in ECM or related field.
  • Profound expertise in Java and Angular, with a strong background in developing enterprise-level applications.
  • Solid experience with SQL databases and AWS cloud services.
  • Initial experience with AI integrations, demonstrating an understanding of the potential.
  • Strong understanding of agile practices and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multinational team environment.
  • A commitment to excellence and a passion for innovation in the automotive financial services sector.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of German is a significant advantage, facilitating better integration with the Munich-based team.
