Risk Partner (Information Security and Data Privacy) (m/f/d)


  • Performing Second Line IT security and Data privacy compliance
  • Coordinating the IT security and Data privacy initiatives in cooperation with (external) stakeholders
  • Closely cooperating with Group stakeholders and the appointed Data Protection Officer
  • Providing strategic IT security and Data Privacy guidance
  • Point of contact for definition of policies and procedures with Data and Information Security relevance in close cooperation with other Group entities
  • Development and operation of Information Security and Data policies and underlying standards
  • Developing and maintaining IT security and Data privacy-related KPIs
  • Continuous risk assessment of the branch's local information domain
  • Continuous risk management of IT security and Data privacy risks, including control execution and test activities
  • Supporting the branch team with ad hoc advice e.g. for activities around User Access Management or Business Impact Assessments
  • Ongoing assessment of legal and regulatory changes around IT security and Data privacy and adaptation of local processes and policies of these
  • Lead on internal and external audits and communication with regulators connected to the Information Security and Data

  • Several years experience in an IT, Compliance, Legal or Regulatory position
  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree (e.g. IT related, business or law studies) required, Master's degree (e.g. LLM, MBL) is a plus
  • Profound knowledge of Information Security and Data protection standards (e.g. ISO, DORA, MaRisk, IT-SiG, GDPR)
  • Experience in (Correspondent) Banking is a plus
  • Certified Compliance Professionals will be preferred
  • Deep understanding of applicable requirements of MaRisk, DORA, GDPR as well as KWG and GWG
  • Knowledge around payments processing and scheme rules (e.g. SEPA, TARGET2) is a plus
  • Great communicator with sound interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication in English and German
