AeroLogic is a modern cargo airline based at Leipzig/Halle Airport. It was founded in 2007 as joint venture of Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express. With a very modern fleet of 22 Boeing 777F AeroLogic mostly serves destinations in Asia and the USA. AeroLogic has daily connections to Hong Kong and several other destinations like Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai and Chicago. For the Flight Safety and Compliance Department AeroLogic is looking for a: Safety Officer -Technical Operations (m/f/x) START DATE As of now PLACE Leipzig/ Halle Airport RESPONSIBILITIES Compliance Monitoring Independent preparation, implementation and documentation of audits and inspections in the technical area Independent tracking of corrective and preventive actions and verification of the implementation Support the continuous monitoring of safety & compliance standards Support the revision of manuals, procedures and checklists within the department Safety Management Initial processing and assessing of technical safety occurence reports including timely preparation and conveyance of mandatory occurence reports Identify hazards evolving from occurence reports and if necessary, publish mitigations by means of safety recommendations or initiate an internal investigation Lead of safety investigation of incidents and occurrences or be an active part of the investigation team Create and issue the internal safety publications Assess the safety impact related to the introduction of operational changes, new technologies or for the specific occasions REQUIREMENTS Must have: Degree in an aviation or transport related education, or equivalent practical knowledge and skills (at least 5 years experience) Be able to receive a ZÜP Willingness to travel Fluency in German and English written and spoken Profound computer literacy and knowledge in MS Office applications Preferable: Work experience in the business of Continuing Airworthiness Management, Aircraft Maintenance or as active compliance auditor Work experience in the field of occurrence investigation Experienced in IQSMS, AMOS or Web Manuals Certified training as aviation auditor Comprehensive knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO and Part-145 Personal Skill set: Team player with excellent communication skills Sense of responsibility and confidentiality Ability to work under pressure and according to strict deadlines Solution driven, analytical and structured mindset OUR OFFER An unlimited employment contract with 30 days' holiday Childcare benefit for kindergarten children Offer of a free job ticket, good transport connections and free parking on site A varied and responsible work spectrum in a motivated team Reliability, stability and perspectives in a company with flat hierarchies and short decision-making channels A local workplace at Leipzig-Halle Airport, a modern working environment Opportunities for further training Opportunity to work from home Industry standard discounted flights upon availability and much more Contact ADDRESS Aerologic GmbH Josef-von-Copertino-Straße 2 D-04435 Schkeuditz www.aerologic.aero YOUR APPLICATION You are interested?
