E.ON Drive Infrastructure (EDRI) is a pan-European market leading charge point operator owned by the E.ON group. EDRI builds, owns, and operates public charging infrastructure for all types of electric vehicles. The company purpose is to build a sustainable world, by providing charging for everyone, everywhere. The team currently employs 120 people and operates more than 5,300 public charging points across 10 European countries: Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Norway, Italy, Hungary and Romania. Together with location partners EDRI will expand its network by installing 1,000 additional high power charging points per year.


Join our young and dynamic Data and IT team at EDRI, a leading provider of EV charging infrastructure. Our team is full of potential, driving innovation in the rapidly evolving EV charging Industry. This role is crucial for safeguarding our systems and infrastructure against cyber threats, ensuring business continuity, and maintaining compliance with industry security standards. You will be responsible for implementing and managing comprehensive security measures, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization. Your expertise will help us protect our innovative solutions and support the growth of our cutting-edge EV charging network.

  • Responsible for the documentation, implementation and maintenance of risk and information security management systems acting as an Information Security officer (ISO)
    • Create Risk management and information security policies & procedures
    • Establish Incident handling and notification procedures
    • Implement and maintain Business continuity and crisis management
  • Perform security assessments and audits of IT (Information Technology) & OT (Operational Technology) application and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats
  • Increase security awareness, conduct training, and establish a cyber-oriented culture
  • Identify security design gaps in new and existing architectures, and collaborate with engineering teams to craft solutions that mitigate those issues
  • Implement security solutions that protect products against cyber threats at every stage of the development lifecycle
  • Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify potential security risks and recommend appropriate countermeasures
  • Act as the security product owner for our Data and IT team and the overall organization, overseeing the integration of security measures and ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure the ability to withstand and recover from cyberthreats, incidents, and disruptions
  • Follow the security standards and guidelines of E. ON Group and EDRI


  • You have a degree or have equivalent professional experience, ideally with a specialization in computer science, business, Informatics, mathematics, physics, economics or related fields
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of IT/OT security, as well as in information security management system (ISMS), risk management, security assessments, business continuity management (BCM), threat modelling and security architecture
  • You are familiar with general IT security methods such as IT systems and software, risk management and control frameworks as well as IT service management software
  • You have practical knowledge in ISO 2700x, BSI, NIS2|KRITIS and Data Privacy as well as practical experience in applying standard requirements
  • You have a hands-on mentality, analytical and strategic thinking, strong communication skills and ideally experience in project management and coordination of internal and external stakeholders
  • Optional: You have industry-standard certifications in either of the following
    • BSI-Grundschutz practitioner, BSI- Grundschutz consultant, IS auditor or IS auditor as well as knowledge of ISO 27001, risk and emergency management, network, and application security
  • You are fluent in English – both spoken and written. Proficiency in German is nice to have but not mandatory.
