POSITION OVERVIEW
As Marketing Manager K2 Skis Europe you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and driving the effective implementation of the full European marketing strategy with a consumer-driven mindset, digital first approach and local relevance with focus on building credibility to drive sell-through.

RESPONSIBILITIES
> Develop and lead execution of European go-to-market plan based on global guidelines for all product categories.
> Create (digital) advertising and communication plan, scheduled according to global program.
> Coordinate annual marketing / promo calendar with European markets.
> Responsible for ensuring the best possible campaign tools to cover all relevant consumer touchpoints (media, digital activation, publishing, social, public relations, retail and trade marketing, consumer-facing events).
> Adapt any additional category brand communication content to maximize consumer impact for relevant channels to be executed by the European markets.
> Ensure category and brand plan executional excellence in the European markets and report on performance against KPIs by monitoring opportunities and future improvements.
> Lead communication on key account and buying group activation plans.
> Support sales team with development and production of sales collateral materials, including but not limited to sell in/out tools, POP, etc.
> Identify and fulfill all retail marketing and promotional requests.
> Create consumer activation plans to support engagement between brand and consumer.
> Manage public relation efforts, including but not limited to press releases, product reviews, editor relations, product pitches.
> Set up and execute performance marketing plans to support DTC business.
> Drive annual budget planning and execute precise budget management.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
> Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the related field of marketing.
> Bachelor`s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.
> You have the ability to ski competently in all conditions
> Traveling on a regular base to European markets as well as to global brand/product summits is fun for you
> You have a strong understanding of the skiing culture, market and lifestyle.
> You come with a work history in ski or related sports industries.
> You possess excellent work ethic and enthusiasm
> Organizing multiple tasks and managing projects are self-evident to you
> You possess advanced computer skills: MS Office, Adobe products are a plus
> You have a strong understanding of DTC marketing and sales strategies.
> You are fluent in English and if you also speak German this will be a plus
> Last but not least, you have strong presentation and communication skills
