At PAUL HARTMANN AG, we are seeking a dedicated and innovative Digital Technology Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrating and enhancing our current OCR-Solution from TUNGSTEN / KOFAX while identifying and implementing new features to automate various business processes. This allows for an adaptive focus of the role that the successful candidate can shape themselves in order to advance the companies OCR-capabilities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Application Administration & Architecture: Maintain and advance our OCR-Solution from TUNGSTEN (KOFAX) in the Modules Capture and Transformation.
  • Feature Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Testing & Documentation: Engage in coding, debugging, testing, and creating technical documentation to maintain clarity and quality.
  • Task Management: Estimate, assign, and track tasks within the technical team to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Support & CR Development: Provide application support, troubleshoot issues, and develop change requests based on user feedback.
  • Project Management: Streamline business requirements into projects and independently implement requirements within a strong team.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: University degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience with Kofax or similar OCR-Software. Familiarity with the specific modules “Capture”, “Transformation” and “Import Connector” is beneficial. Experience in developing and implementing automation solutions across various business functions
  • Business Process Knowledge: Basic knowledge of relevant business processes.
  • Soft Skills: Strong willingness to work in a collaborative virtual environment, effective stakeholder interaction, excellent English skills; German is a plus.
