European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. It is an aircraft maintenance company as well as a cargo airline. The fleet of EAT Leipzig consists of 36 aircraft, including Airbus A300-600, A330-200 and Boeing 757. At present, destinations in Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East and Asia are approached. The company currently employs approximately 1200 staff at its bases at Leipzig/Halle airport and in Brussels

YOUR TASK

The Risk Assessor is responsible for tracking and assessing the global security and safety situation incl. information in case of situational changes to all relevant staff (senior management, flight crew, flight operations control center). In addition, the Risk Assessor support the Safety Department, with all Emergency Response and Support Program topics and in investigation of incidents and accidents.

  • Tracking of global security and safety situation,
  • Performing security and safety risk assessments,
  • Creating and publishing of flight security Info and safety publications,
  • Support in the event of incidents/accidents,
    • Responsibility for incident procedure (including documentation of incidents in LEJ),
  • Operational emergency response topics,
  • Conducting training/practical exercises,
  • Track open points,
  • Care/maintenance of crisis control center,
    • Administration of emergency alerting system,
  • Support in business continuity management,
  • Coordinate and lead other projects.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Professional aviation education or similar experience,
  • Very good communications skills in English and German language (written and spoken),
  • Good knowledge about computer science MS office,
  • Systematic and analytical thinking,
  • Able to work under stress,
  • Motivated, flexible and reliable,
  • Capable of autonomous work,
  • High level of accuracy,
  • Ability to work in teams.
