As Mercedes Benz AG, we are no longer planning ordinary cars for the future, but rather computers on wheels. Software peripherals and their updates in our vehicles are becoming more and more important. As the ITS/GV - IT Technical Aftersales department, we are responsible worldwide for all aftersales topics related to the vehicle, including flashing & coding of vehicles, distribution of vehicle software in the workshops, AS product documentation and connected vehicle. We are looking for motivated and passionate working students that will join the 4 different teams in Technical Aftersales for completing our team setup with a minimum duration of 1 year.

These challenges await you:

Junior Budget Controller:

  • You will support in preparing the monthly budget report based on information from different supppliers and time-keeping tool
  • You will maintain/track the project timeline
  • You will make the follow-up on financial project documentation with colleagues from the team
  • You will support in preparing different project analysis
  • You will offer support for any other task required by the business controller
  • You take responsibility for the controlling of the team and are the contact person in the team for controlling and budget topics
  • You ensure compliance with the budget and the correct posting and debiting of our suppliers' invoices
  • You will prepare the budget preview and review reports in coordination with the department controlling

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in studies in the field of economics or business administration, computer science, communication or similar education
  • You have good knowledge of MS-Office tools (with focus on Excel)
  • You have high affinity for team-work and communication
  • You have an independent and structured way of working with attention to details
  • You speak English fluently and German language is considered a plus
  • You're a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person
  • You always have an eye for the essentials
  • You have the ability to work conceptually, independence, commitment, ability to work in a team
  • You have the motivation, desire to create, interest and open-mindedness for IT topics and new technologies
