On the current journey of Vattenfall towards S/4 HANA our SAP Basis Team is responsible for the management of an international technical SAP system landscape running in the cloud as well as on premise.
For the SAP Basis Team, part of Vattenfall IT we are now looking for an ambitious Junior SAP Basis Administrator in Berlin, Stockholm or Amsterdam
What will you do?
As a Junior SAP Basis Administrator you will take responsibility of the configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of the technology stack like SAP application and underlaying database.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of Vattenfall's international SAP system landscape, including both cloud and on-premise environments
- Support configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of the SAP technology stack and underlying databases
- Participate in software upgrades, system installations, configuration, and support package installations
- Assist in HANA database administration and user authentication/security access management
- Contribute to the planning and management of technical projects and upgrades
- Support secure operation and setup of SAP landscapes
- Assist in SAP Basis and database workload analysis and performance tuning
- Work with integration teams to connect surrounding systems based on current security standards
- Support the maintenance and setup of SAP High-Availability solutions
- Basic database administration (Oracle, HANA)
- Gain knowledge of data-center infrastructure, including hardware and software (operating systems/UNIX and Linux)
- Participate in on-call duty rotation
Location
Berlin, Stockholm or Amsterdam
As our SAP Basis Administrator you bring strong communication skills, an open mindset and solid problem solving skills.
Next to this you bring:
- University degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent technical qualification/experience
- Basic understanding of SAP software architecture and landscape design
- Fundamental knowledge of SAP technologies
- Ability to cooperate with team members and customers
- English language skills - verbal and written
- Swedish language skills could be helpful but not mandatory
