Jobbeschreibung

„Research for a life without cancer“ is our mission at the German Cancer Research Center. We investigate how cancer develops, identify cancer risk factors and look for new cancer prevention strategies. We develop new methods with which tumors can be diagnosed more precisely and cancer patients can be treated more successfully. Every contribution counts – whether in research, administration or infrastructure. This is what makes our daily work so meaningful and exciting.

The Helmholtz Institute HI-TRON in Mainz is a collaboration of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) with the Johannes Gutenberg-University (JGU), the University Medicine Mainz (UM Mainz) and the non-profit TRON gGmbH (TRON). The aim of the partnership is to develop pioneering immunotherapies and identify new biomarkers for the effectiveness of the treatment.

The Division "mRNA Cancer Immunotherapies" at HI-TRON headed by Prof. Dr. Uğur Şahin focuses on the identification of biomarkers or targets for immunotherapy and the development of novel mRNA-assisted therapeutic strategies.

To strengthen our international scientific team, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Technical Assistant for mRNA Cancer Immunotherapies.
