Technolas Perfect Vision GmbH, with its headquarters in Munich, is an internationally operating company of the Bausch + Lomb group dealing with the development, production and technical service of medical devices in field of ophthalmology. Our high-end laser systems and diagnostic devices are used in refractive, cataract and therapeutic eye surgery.

For our team in Munich we are looking for a
Senior Software Engineer – Medical Devices (all genders)
- Design and implementation of software components (C#,C/C++) and related automated tests
- Provide solid contributions to software architectures for medical devices based on software requirements
- Optional, depending on interest: implementation of mathematical algorithms
- Coordination of external development (software/firmware)
- Review software detailed designs and software code
- Support creation of related test protocols and reports
- Support integration of automated tests in our CI/CD environment (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Coordination of software system integration
- Documentation in accordance with the QM-system
- Support of risk management process
- Computer scientist, engineer, or study in a STEM field with related experience
- Several years work experience with C#/.Net and preferably also in C/ C++
- Experience with .Net 6 (Core), WPF, Azure DevOps CI/CD, unit testing
- Interest in SW architectures
- Interest in mathematical SW algorithms is a plus
- Work experience in a regulated industry and/or functional safety
- Open and communicative personality who likes to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Analytical and solution-oriented problem-solving capabilities and high-level of accountability
- Experience with agile development processes
- Very good English written and spoken, German is a plus
