If you are proactive, analytical, possess strong leadership skills and are perseverant we invite you to join us as our new Business Partner Controller for South America (all genders) to work at KWS Berlin GmbH.
In this role you will support our teams in Chile, Peru, and Brazil. You will be the main point of contact, helping local and regional leaders achieve their goals. Additionally, you will provide valuable financial analysis and advice to guide decisions. Moreover, you will work closely with other teams to improve our processes and ensure everything runs smoothly.
This full-time, permanent position is based in Berlin or Einbeck, starting preferably August 1, 2024 or later.

Tasks:

• Act as advisor and integrator by pro-actively providing high quality analysis to support manager decisions in operative and mid- and long-term steering of the business by performing regular business profitability reviews and monitoring adequate measures
• Generating scenarios together with management for changed and new processes/ business models
• Active role in product cost controlling through calculating standard prices and providing analysis on field and plant production processes
• Execution of financial planning and forecasting processes in your area of responsibility by challenging assumptions with profound knowledge of market and company´s development, focusing on achieving business targets and evaluating chances and risks
• Collecting and evaluating Controlling demands of the business in terms of structure and content and providing solutions for utmost usage of standardized processes and reports
• Liaising with other Business Partner teams for intercompany and cross country/region activities
• Performing quarterly and year-end closing processes according to respective processes and timeline

• Academic degree in Economics/Business Administration/Finance or similar
• Several years of proven professional experience in the field of controlling, preferably in an international environment
• Experience in production controlling and standard cost calculations
• Very good user knowledge in relevant IT systems (Microsoft, SAP R3, S4 Hana, Business Warehouse)
• Excellent analytical skills paired with strategic thinking
• Strong communication skills
• Constantly challenging the status quo and improving it
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Project management experience and strong organizational skills are assets
• Team player
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken); other languages are a plus
