Strategy & Business Development

  • Further develop tk Automotive Body Solutions (AB) in the USA according to our growth and strategic plan - take action to adapt the plan if required in consultation with superiors
  • Support, develop and adapt our product and service offerings for the American market
  • Monitor current market trends and competitor activities and coordinating with the Global Sales team
  • Maintain and expand customer and supplier relationships and furthermore strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Detail decision papers, presentations and prepare relevant meetings to achieve agreed objectives

Operations

  • Lead and develop the US team towards our next level
  • Lead and direct the company to ensure continuous, efficient and consistent operations that exceed customer and supervisor expectations in a safe and orderly manner
  • Ensure further progression of the young company entailing development of the infrastructure, if necessary with the help of other functions
  • Coordinate legal advice and alignment when concluding relevant contracts with customers and suppliers
  • Monitor relevant KPIs (financially and operational) to steer the company in alignment with our financial department - detail measures and track implementation if required

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or similar (at least Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or diploma an advantage)
  • MBA an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in project management, strategy, M&A or similar in an automotive or automotive supplier company
  • Commercial experience in the form of a business administration degree or MBA program is an advantage
  • Several years of experience in managing projects/companies in an international environment
  • Hands-on mentality with strategic foresight and well-founded analytical skills
  • Experience in the thyssenkrupp Group is an advantage but not necessary
  • Good PC skills (Office 365, especially PowerPoint and MS Teams)
  • Business fluent in English and German (fluent)
