- In this role, you will lead international multidisciplinary teams at client sites with a focus on transforming the client's automation strategy and achieving a competitive advantage.
- You will assist clients in the design and implementation of industrial automation systems that focus on process improvement, including technical solutions that utilize process automation technologies such as AGVs, automated warehouses, or robotics.
- You will help clients to develop plans for new or existing automated systems, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- You will manage automation projects from planning to commissioning and execution.
- You will use your in-depth knowledge of technologies to provide investment estimates, feasibility studies and business cases to define the best solutions for our customers to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- You will invest in your personal development and knowledge to stay abreast of changes in existing automation technologies, such as material handling systems, as well as trends in emerging technologies, such as humanoid robots.
- 4 or more years of experience in industrial automation and robotics in multinational companies, preferably in the industrial goods or consumer goods sectors
- Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent, preferably with a specialization in automation or robotics
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems such as conveyor systems, AGVs, warehouse automation, robotics
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve technical problems in complex systems
- Big picture understanding around future factories, entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking to optimize and improve automated processes
- Effective presentation and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Fluent in German and English, Italian a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
