Expert IT Quality Assurance Air Traffic Control Systems (f/m/d)
- In your role, you will support the company with certification as an EASA "Design and Production Organisation" (DPO). In this context, you will support the definition of the necessary processes for the organisation and the products to be certified and implement them.
- You will actively design international software projects with a focus on air traffic systems. You will be responsible for the organisation and moderation of QA activities in software development according to common standards (ED153, waterfall and agile).
- As part of the software maintenance and further development of air traffic control systems, you will carry out all necessary quality assurance tasks during the acceptance of software elements, which also includes the internal auditing of development processes.
- By using and expanding suitable software tools (e.g. GitLab, Jama connect), you ensure the required quality standards of the software release to be tested.
- If necessary, you derive measures from quality standards that serve to fulfil the standard and optimize these measures in terms of effective working methods.
- You reliably create detailed acceptance and release documents and provide support during the commissioning of air traffic control systems, which also involves document management including document review and versioning.
- In your role, you will report to the Head of ATS Development.
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or have a comparable qualification with relevant additional qualifications and several years of professional experience
- Very good knowledge of SW development and quality assurance standards (e.g. V-model, VO 482, ISO 9001, ED-109, ED-153, CMMI) as well as EU regulations in the ATM/ANS environment
- Very good knowledge of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) of air traffic control software (especially ED-153)
- Sound knowledge of Jama connect, DOORS, WORD, EXCEL, AC-ROBAT, VISIO and Power Point
- Knowledge of air traffic control systems and air traffic control tasks and standards
- Knowledge of working with air traffic control systems in the area of SDPS/FDPS is desirable
- Very good knowledge of English and basic written and spoken German
