Process Excellence Manager (m/f/d)

The role will be part of the Business Excellence Team.


The responsibility of the Bruker Process Excellence Manager is to take a leading role to support the BMID Division develop and maintain Business Processes to ensure a clear Target Operating Model. As the Division becomes more focused on Assays business, the role will help mature processes to develop a razor/ razor blade business model, alongside our Capital Sales Process. The role will ensure clear mapping of Business Processes from lead generation to cash collection and everything in between.
The role requires an understanding of processes, system and IT infrastructure (incl CRM/ EPR/ Data warehousing, etc), able to “speak the language of different functions- to enable clear process interfaces from creating a quotation to capturing masterdata or maintaining customer contacts and meeting GDPR requirements.
Ultimately the role is to ensure smooth commercial and operational functions of the expanding BMID Division and provide efficiency in our overall Operating Models.
The function will be part of the divisional Commercial Excellence team. It will play a crucial role to record existing processes and with that identify potential for improvements and increase the business value. The role will help to develop a transparency on the currently performed processes and will perform regular reviews to assure a continuous improvement within the division incl. tools and KPIs for better monitoring.
  • Record, visualize and communicate existing processes
  • Develop suggestions for improvement incl. KPIs to track process efficiency
  • Elaborate ideas, tools and concepts and create related presentations
  • Review existing processes on a regular basis and evaluate improvement potential
  • Work in close exchange with process experts as well as key stakeholders to improve business value
  • Facilitate and moderate cross-functional workshops (physically or virtually) for further process understanding and development
  • Travel expected up to 25 % of the time; you must plan and execute their travel according to company travel guidelines and within expense budget objectives

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar education
  • Proven experience in process management: recording existing processes, visualization and development of suggestions for improvement
  • Experience in an international business environment
  • Ability to work independently, responsibly and proactively
  • Experience in MS Office (Excel), CRM (SFCD) and ERP (SAP) Systems
  • Strong communication skills across all hierarchy levels
  • Skills in process automation would be a plus
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Additional languages are a plus
