Our Energy Asset Team in Düsseldorf is looking for You!

  • Leadership of Energy Asset Integration Team
  • Build up and establish new, high performing organizational L3 area as a strong team.
  • Develop the Asset Integration team members to make sure the required capabilities are secured and enhanced.
  • Build up trustful relationships and have an impact via Uniper Way behavior within Asset Integration team, within Energy Assets Strategy Team, within Energy Assets Team, within Uniper (e.g. RES, NGPG, AT, Power)
  • Define and coordinate owners' specifications for new assets (all technologies except nuclear), and ensure its delivery by the Growth engines by a close cooperation and early stage in the project development phase.
  • Create value through development of asset holistic technical-economic analysis to define the optimum target operating model for new build assets within Uniper Energy assets fleet, including the recommendation of the optimum delivery model.
  • Provide energy asset required inputs, and acting as EA central point of contact for the Growth engines (RES and New Green Power and Gas) with main focus on the SD to FD project development phases.
  • Ensure the owners requirements necessary for a smooth hand over from Growth functions to Energy assets at the COD time are adopted and delivered systematically, in all projects and for all technologies.
  • Define the required skills and capacity for the operation and optimization of new energy assets.
  • Ensure the definition and the implementation of the required operational & asset management tools (technical and commercial) for the successful value maximization of new Energy Assets in close cooperation with all EA functions and other stakeholders (power & gas).
  • Systematically scan and evaluate O&M innovative improvements for Energy Assets operational models (new assets and existing fleets) to ensure long-term energy assets competitiveness.
  • Ensure an efficient and effective performance Management (leading indicators) are adopted for the new energy assets.
  • Deliver and maintain a continue improvement process is in place (management system, learnings and best practices) for the new build assets integration process.

  • Education in engineering or economic studies on academic level or equivalent
  • Role model in driving highest safety performance for people, environment and process and plant safety
  • Passion and drive for leadership following the Uniper way/ Self-awareness of leadership style and track record on personal development journey and great degree of curiosity
  • Ability to develop trustful relationships in multicultural, diverse and inclusive working environment at several interfaces
  • Relevant energy assets or similar experience: Possess relevant technical and commercial and project management experience or ability and track record to quickly develop additional advanced skills
  • Strategic and tech-economic knowledge in implementing successfully change programs or strategies across companies
  • Strong commitment in continuous improvement and business excellence
  • Focus on key inputs for own business responsibilities and deliver them with the right quality and in timely fashion
  • Think differently always striving to accomplish more with less
