We are looking for a proactive Migration Manager SAP & non-SAP (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team in Stuttgart. The Migration Manager SAP & non-SAP ensures the successful execution of migration projects, leveraging advanced SAP knowledge and best practices to drive efficiency, minimize risk, and maximize the value of the migration effort.This role is crucial in overseeing the technical aspects of migrating data, applications, and systems from legacy environments to modern platforms.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive migration strategy outlining the approach, methodology, and timelines for migrating existing systems, data, and processes to new platforms or environments
- Lead the planning and execution of migration activities, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness throughout the process
- Develop data migration strategies, mapping schemas, and transformation rules to facilitate seamless data transfer and minimize data loss or corruption
- Provide post-migration support to address any issues or challenges arising from the migration, including system performance issues, data inconsistencies, or user training needs
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize system configurations, troubleshoot technical issues, and fine-tune processes to maximize the benefits of the migration
- Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in computer science, information technology or engineering, system analysis or a related field
- Strong technical experience in SAP data migration and non-SAP system migrations
- Many years of hands-on experience in SAP implementations within complex environments
- Many years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical knowledge and application development
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate complex migration projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in English, German language skills preferred
