Analyst (m/w/d) ESG & Global Projects Location 80335 München Job Level Entry Level Job-ID 49468 Key Responsibilities ESG Strategy & Implementation Support the development and execution of PIMCO Prime Real Estate's global ESG agenda across direct equity, funds and commercial real estate loan businesses Actively support the ongoing development of the ESG integration framework Coordinate global ESG initiatives with local ESG, portfolio, asset and investment managers and track progress on key ESG activities Assist in performing critical ESG assessments (e.g. new acquisitions Support target-setting initiatives, definition of ESG fundamentals and support their implementation (e.g. via defining investment criteria or refining due diligence and asset management processes, etc.) Carry out ESG-related portfolio analyses as well as benchmarking of sustainability / ESG performance Prepare and maintain sustainability / ESG policies, guidelines and training material Cooperate in business / product development initiatives (e.g. new fund products) and support investor communication ESG Data & Reporting Support the implementation of new ESG / sustainability reporting standards incl. development of technical concepts and coordination with auditors and external consultants Contribute to the preparation of Allianz Group's ESG / sustainability reporting and cooperate in (regulatory) fund reporting Monitor regulatory requirements for ESG / sustainability reporting (e.g. SFDR, Taxonomy Regulation) and drive its implementation Perform or coordinate ESG / sustainability data management and data collection programs Support the development of today's ESG data strategy towards a «future-proof» ESG data landscape Key requirements Degree in real estate, sustainability, environmental management, finance or economics (in the latter case ideally with additional qualifications in real estate) First relevant professional experience through internships or working student activities Knowledge of real estate investments processes or asset management in general is appreciated Knowledge of ESG, Sustainability or Environmental Management is appreciated Proficiency in MS Office Suite; high proficient in Excel Detail-oriented with solid quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and a high degree of accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset Ideally experience in an international, multicultural business environment Ability to navigate different projects and departments and work with a variety of different people within the organization Hands-on mentality and perseverance in completing projects and tasks Fluency in English is a requirement; good German language skills are desirable Benefits Onboarding: A mentor, a buddy program and a global welcome event will help you getting started.
