Your Team:

As the Online Marketing team, we are responsible for planning and implementing digital marketing activities for Statista as well as monitoring and analyzing all our channels and campaigns. In close cooperation with our Product Development, Editorial, and Sales teams, we create high-impact campaigns and veritable success.


As a Marketing Technology Specialist, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in shaping our data-driven marketing strategy, improving customer experience and driving business growth. Your expertise in managing our CDP infrastructure and leveraging customer data insights will be instrumental in enhancing the organization's understanding of its customers and delivering targeted and personalized marketing campaigns.\n\n

  • CDP Configuration and Maintenance: You are responsible for configuring and maintaining the Customer Data Platform (CDP) to ensure optimal performance, reliability & required data integration workflows.
  • Data Integration and Management: You are responsible for the technical implementation of further use cases.
  • Insights and Analytics: In cooperation with data scientists and our marketing team you will be leveraging data analytics to drive insights and improve customer experiences.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: You will work closely with marketing teams, data teams, and IT teams to understand business requirements and align CDP capabilities accordingly.

  • Proven expertise in managing and operating Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) or similar customer data management systems
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping, segmentation, and personalization strategy
  • Good communication skills, both in working with interdisciplinary teams and technical stakeholders and in presenting product visions and strategies
  • Strong understanding of data integration concepts & data governance
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills as well as strong initiative and team spirit
  • Hands-on experience in SQL, HTML, CSS & JavaScript is an advantage
