Semiconductor lithography drives today's digitalization and inherently relies on defect-free photomasks – the blue print for every microchip. Our devices analyze and manipulate such photomasks by processing huge amounts of data with state-of-the-art algorithms. As part of an agile team you will work side-by-side with signal processing experts, software architects, high-performance computing engineers and domain experts to turn measurement data into insights for our customers. Your task is to design, tune and integrate modern computer vision algorithms to take our imaging processing solutions to the next level. Your innovation-driven mindset makes you follow the latest technical developments, and you embrace the challenge of automated interpretation of visual information.


  • Intensive experience with signal processing, pattern recognition and machine learning

  • Excellent practical programming skills with scientific Python, C++/C#, CUDA

  • Good knowledge in software engineering and deep learning tools (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenCV)

  • University level degree in physics, computer science, engineering, mathematics or similar

  • Ideally proven software engineering skills and FOSS contributions

  • Problem solver and supportive team player

  • Very good German and English skills
