In this role, you will manage and resolve claims with our subcontractors during the execution phase of our wind farm projects in Europe. You will have to find new solutions for new challenges every day, and will work in a multicultural environment.
- Investigating claims and determining liability in accordance with our contracts as well as any applicable laws and regulations
- Negotiating claims with subcontractors
- Drafting of notices of liability, claims and settlement agreements, in cooperation with the project management team as well as our Sourcing, Legal and Insurance departments
- Maintaining records of all claims and related documentation
- Analyzing and reporting our claims, effectively communicate the resulting "lessons learned" within the company and optimize our claim and contract management process
- Studies in business administration, law, or alternatively industrial engineering
- Practical experience in claim management or similar background
- You have a strong interest in complex, technical issues and have a good eye for details
- You are not afraid to give your opinion and stand your ground
- You enjoy working in international teams,
- You are fluent in written and spoken English
