You will be part of the Procurement Management team in Düsseldorf which focusses on ensuring best value-for-money procurement and maximizing business and project value for our day-to-day business operations. The diverse procurement team comprises 140 professionals from 28 different nationalities, spanning across four countries: the UK, Germany, Netherlands, and Sweden. Together, they manage an annual spend of 1.5 billion euros, strategically sourcing products and services across various categories.
- You will have overall sourcing responsibility for specific tender strategies
- Actively manage business stakeholders across all Uniper operations, locally and internationally
- Have close collaboration with the other Procurement functions, Business Solutions, Performance & Culture, and Digitalisation teams
- Perform day to day tasks in the relevant systems & tools; SAP, SAP Ariba (and Ivalua e-Sourcing)
- Actively manage Uniper suppliers ensuring competitive contracts and reliable supplies
- Manage Contracts & Claims where required
- Procurement background / experience in Procurement of Civil Projects (EPC contract and/or multi sourcing civil projects) expected
- Several years of experience in the energy industry and/or Procurement
- Experience of managing larger procurement projects and/or tenders
- Experience in using SAP, SAP Ariba and relevant platforms (i.e. eVergabe) would be a plus
- Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders, their conflicting requirements & cross-functional overlaps
- Working proficiency in English, German Communication skills (minimum C1) for German Office required, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
