Our Commercial Technology Team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!
- You will develop a deep understanding of Uniper's business, its value drivers, and the business environment
- You will learn from and collaborate with experts from many different fields, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects with various stakeholders
- You will start in Digital Trading and rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path
- You will working closely with traders and analysts to analyze their business requirements
- You will design and implement software solutions with a focus on innovative technologies to accelerate our algorithmic and systematic trading, and advanced analytics capability
- You will align with other developers, data scientists and design architects throughout the full agile development process
- You will write and run test scripts either manually or through test automation
- You will automate infrastructure, software builds and delivery processes
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, engineering or comparable disciplines
- Ideally first practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities
- Curiosity and openness to working in an international environment
- Intercultural experience is crucial, experience abroad a plus
- Sense of responsibility, proactivity and advanced interpersonal communication skills as well as a drive for continuous improvement with a hands-on mentality
- Comfortable with programming languages like Python or C#
- Proficiency with Git
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes, IP networking and cloud technologies is a plus
- Passion about software engineering and programming
- Fluency of written and spoken English is required
