Unit description
Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Communications Advisor at our location Hanover who will contribute to this and that might be you?

As a Communications Advisor, you have experience in advising and executing communication plans, organising (online) events, preparing and writing content, with a focus on internal- change- and partnership communication.
- You have excellent writing skills and a flair for smart, thorough and surprising communication advice. You are able to understand the complex playing field in which TenneT operates and offer high-quality communication solutions. You have a hands-on mentality and are familiar with a diverse range of communication means and channels
- You will foster the internal communication within our international unit of 600 employees by (co-)producing and designing effective communication solutions with creativity, business focus and results in mind. You will work in close collaboration with your Dutch counterpart
- You will provide advice to the senior management on various topics and projects within the unit, you will support the positioning of this unit within the TenneT organisation and advice and support with communication in collaboration with our (2 GW) partners
- You will be part of the Business Team of the LPO unit. The Business Team, currently consisting of 5 team members, enables and supports the LPO Management Team and the entire LPO community, by managing all activities around strategy development & implementation, cultural development and internal communication
- You will regularly collaborate with the corporate communication team to ensure that your communication activities are aligned and consistent with the overall TenneT communication strategy and standards
- You preferably have a master's degree in Communication or a related field
- You have around 8 years of experience as a communication professional in a complex and dynamic environment
- You are proactive, familiar with TenneT's political and media landscape, and can translate this knowledge into effective communication plans
- You are creative and outgoing, with a strong team spirit and a high level of autonomy
- You have excellent English speaking and writing skills. Additionally you are fluent in German (native or near-native level)
