Are you interested in assessing complex functions through Aircraft and Systems, analyse the propagation of mechanical or electrical/electronic malfunctions and unintended human operation throughout the system with regards to hazardous Aircraft reaction? To support the Aircraft Development Safety Team we are looking for an Experienced System Safety Engineer (d/f/m) who will ensure that Airbus products are developed, designed, produced and supported according to the state-of-art and the relevant safety standards (associated to airworthiness regulations). Safety of the vehicle is maintained throughout its whole lifecycle, considering Human Factors and operation. Your location Located about an hour's drive north of Munich, Manching is an up-and-coming market town that offers a wide range of leisure and cultural activities. Your tasks and responsibilitiesYou can expect the following challenging tasks and activities: Lead and conduct autonomously ensuring adequate level of quality the main Safety assessments (Functional Hazard Assessment/System Safety Assessment/Particular Risk Analysis/Zonal Safety Analysis/Common Mode Analysis) activities for military aircraft and systems, supporting the phases until certification. Lead and conduct autonomously Risk Analyses ensuring adequate level of quality, according to the applicable guidance and standards, which are required to support the continuous aircraft development (including Permit to Fly/Type Certificate) Lead, manage and generate autonomously safety requirements, safety evidences (tests, simulation, analyses), Safety Procedures and Limitations, interface with other technical domains (processes, maintenance, human factors, aircraft performance and quality, etc.) Ensure influence on aircraft/systems architecture development according to the required Safety/Integrity Act as main interface for safety related topics at all the required levels with internal and external stake holders (Chief Engineering, Project Management, Design Teams, Airworthiness Authorities, Industrial Partners, Customers, Suppliers) Continuous improvement of analyses tool environment and processes Support to quotations and planning activities Support and mentoring of new Safety Engineers The analyses and activities comprise the requirements of all levels of development, from Aircraft level resp. System of Systems level down to detailed requirements regarding hardware and Software.
