Product Manager FTIR Spektrometer (m/f/d)


  • Lead Product Lifecycle for existing Bruker optics VERTEX Portfolio
  • Coordinate and drive development of new Solutions for high-end research instrumentation at Bruker Optics.
  • Develop penetration strategies from technical point of view, especially for the academic research market
  • Drive acceptance of high-end FTIR instruments inside the sales organization
  • Provide the technical expertise to operate the high-end VERTEX instruments together with related accessories and share the expertise inside the global organization and with selected key customers worldwide
  • Establish strategic cooperations with key opinion leaders for continuous development
  • Internal coordinate meetings with development, final test and service to discuss, analyze and overcome technical challenges for the VERTEX platform
  • Identify early adopters and endorsers for go-to-market activities (press release, testimonials and thought leadership campaigns)
  • Develop and drive an innovative vision for entering new sectors
  • Interface with various internal teams and stakeholders

  • Strong technical background in physics, chemistry or related field is required, PhD would be a plus
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle and portfolio management methodologies appreciated
  • Proficiency in SAP, SFDC (Salesforce.com), Office, and Product & Project Management Tools
  • Strong technologic understanding of high-end (FTIR or other overlapping techniques) instrumentation and applications, e.g. laser spectrosopy, THz spectroscopy and more.
  • German and Advanced English language skills in written and spoken form are needed
