  • Taxonomy Design: Develop and refine product taxonomies, enabling efficient navigation and content enrichment
  • Data Catalog Development and Management: Create and update a centralized data dictionary of entities, attributes, data processes, applications and services and relationships
  • Business Glossary Creation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a glossary of business terms, policies, and standards, ensuring consistent terminology, understanding, and handling of data
  • Tagging and Classification: Implement metadata tagging and classification strategies, enhancing data organization and discoverability
  • Search Optimization: Optimize metadata for search, discoverability, and self-service
  • Data Ownership Workbench: Manage a function that provides a space for all business and technical personas to collaborate and curate data knowledge with approval workflows and feedback



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Science, or a related field
  • Experience with data catalog tools and metadata management
  • Familiarity with taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and classification systems
  • Effective communication skills that foster collaboration and clear expectation management
  • Passion for pets and commitment to Fressnapf's mission
  • Previous experience with the green field implementation of industry leading data catalog tools
  • Knowledge of storage technologies and architecture
